"When Knighthood was in Flour"

I baked this suit of armor out of bread in 1976, using a small apartment sized stove and gluing the bread pieces to a fabric suit. The model is about 6'2" tall.
The art critic for the Oakland Tribune called me "the Bay Area's high priestess of food art." In 1981 I was one of the judges for "Eat Your Art Out," a fundraiser of edible art for the Berkeley Art Museum.
